New Years EVE Ya'll! Live & Let Live♥♥

It's a New Year and new beginnings. I am very excited about 2009 for reasons I wish I knew. Some people aren't as ecstatic over the new year, or over any new year for that matter. This is actually my favorite holiday of them all. All over the world people are getting ready to celebrate this new cycle on January 1st. Even though this holiday doesn't interest all, it actually should interest us all. Consciously we as the human race are getting ready for 2009. A lot of us are secretly hoping for a new beginning even if we do not believe in the meaning of the new year. But since our minds are connected on a sub/conscious level, this is literally the time to be happy and most excited about new things coming. Time for sure is an illusion, but the right timing is key. If you get your mind right, then things come to you in due time. Karma, blah, blah, blah... But ultimately, the choice is up to you. You decide.

So, I hope everyone has gotten their New Years Resolutions underway. I must admit I'm partially done but that's all apart of the plan. I think it is very important to have at least one goal to accomplish for 2009. Otherwise everything just goes in a circle round and round. The other thing about New Years Resolutions is that a lot of us world wide share common goals that we want to attain. Thus bringing me back to us being connected consciously and subconsciously. Things are easier to acquire when you can tap into the power that your mind holds. Sounds crazy to the skeptics, but come on people, we use only 10% of our brain supposedly. Can you imagine what it would really be like just to use a 10th of a fraction of a 1/2 more from the brain? Gather your goals for this year and try your hardest to get to them. What's in a year? It's actually not that long of a time if you break it down.

☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺

So, it's snowing outside, beautiful... I feel fine. I am happy for this new year. So many new possibilities. For some reason, I am really feelin' 2009. I've been through a lot it seems in 2008, But I think the more important thing is that I learned so much this year. Have you ever heard of the saying that we as humans change every 7 (or so) years? Meaning that we make significant, heartfelt, often dramatic changes during the cycles of our life, and I think that I am in that phase right now.

Have you ever heard of that saying "stop and smell the roses"? I think that this should be a goal for many of us in 2009. Usually when we take a minute to enjoy the small wonderfulness around us, we get a lot more in return. I hate rushing, it is one of the most craziest things that I could do. My mind is frantic, and 9 times outta 10, something extra happens to make me late even more. I believe in flowing it and taking things as they are. I for one, love smelling flowers, literally, so Im a do a lot of that this year.
Please be safe, enjoy your New Year, and get ready; All will be fine in 2009!!!

Flakes, Phonies, Haters, and More...

GOODBYE!!! I know you all know a lot of these type people. I bet they are around you on a regular basis. GET RID of them people! The New Year is here, it's time for changes. You have no idea how much difficulty these people can bring to your life. We all know that for the more stronger of us humans, haters can actually work in our favor, but for the weaker of the human race, it kills us subconsciously. The thing that some of us don't understand is that if we don't need someone in our lives, meaning that if they don't do anything for us to light up our lives, then they should be rid of our lives. See we are living, breathing, human beings and our focus is to grow, to keep a move on. Flakes, Phonies, Haters and the rest don't allow that for us. They keep us still, right where they want us. They just keep sending their negative energy towards us making things harder than they actually are. I'm not saying totally disown others because we are all on our path to fulfillment and are all trying to find our way; I'm just saying let them go if they are of no importance in your life anymore.
I know this may sound easy, but trying to rid people of your life is actually a very hard thing to do. It can seem quite rude, but the bigger picture, the outcome of it all is worth it. To put our selves before we put any human being is a very humane thing to do. If we can't put ourselves first, how are we going to put our loved ones before us?

It's Britney BITCH!!!

Yes, yes, YES! Britney is baaaaaaaaaack! Any one who knows me know that Britney is my original Beyonce. I wanted to wait a little while, just to make sure she wasn't going to flub up again once back in the spotlight... and she didn't! With her two hit songs, "Womanizer" and "Circus" she is right on track. I want to make things very clear to those that don't give a damn about Britney and for those that do; I never gave up on her. I always was team Britney. Just because she went a little crazy in the public eye and did some really strange and interesting things in a Michael Jackson kind of way, everyone gave up on her. And then, after the media had their way with her and threw her to the dogs, everyone, including the media abandoned her and left her for dead. See, the thing about Britney is that, no, she is not a good singer, and no, she is not the greatest dancer... but she is an incredible performer. When she is at her peak, you can see her aura shining through. What I learned through this whole Britney ordeal is that you either lover her or you don't, and I for one LOVE her.
A couple of weeks ago I got into a huge argument with a friend over Brit and her crazy ways. My argument is that she is simply crazy, and sometimes knows not what she do. My friends argument is that she is a regular dumb human being with no talent. Our argument was so heated that my friend hydroplaned on the highway and almost killed himself... over some damn Britney! She's powerful people! Not all performers posses what Britney has, so regardless of if you like her or not, she has made history, and people like her. Her staying power is phenomenal so take it for what it is and be happy that our fellow human being has found the power to find her self again and is making her way back to the top. TEAM BRIT, GO!!!

Please look at my all time favorite Britney video "Slave 4 U"; It's sooooo, sexy... so Britney!

Christmas Eve Massacre... Did you Hear About This?? Rediculous

This story is truly something straight out of a nightmare. On Christmas Eve, a man dressed up as Santa went to his ex-wife's parents house. A child answered the door and he immediately shot her in the face. He began to blow a homemade blow torch on the whole house and everyone in it. Truly disgusting! 9 people were found dead. Please follow this link to read the full story. Thank you.

Merry Effin Christmas Ya'll!!!

So, it's here. It's Christmas and I'm actually feeling quite grand! When you think about Christmas and what it means to you, you should also think about those who don't have a family to share it with. These are the times when we want to be with our loved ones and not everyone has that luxury. Please keep those in your prayers who aren't as fortunate as you and enjoy your day like it is your last... everyday! This world is getting older every minute and we have no idea what is in store for us. Treat those as you wish to be treated and your world will change dramatically! The true meaning of Christmas is about giving without receiving, so please give lots and lots of love through out the day and I bet you will get a lot in return, regardless.

No one really knows this, but one of my favorite types of music is Christmas Music. My favorite song of all time is "Oh Holy Night". Pretty much when everyone sings it, I love it, always brings a tear to my eye. But my all time favorite version is Christina Aguilera's version. Simply Beautiful! Check it out!!! Merry Christmas my friends♥♥♥

Let's Talk About Music People...

Have you seen Pink lately? The girl looks good! I think better than ever. She put out her new album since her divorce from her husband and so far so good! I'm really loving her hit song "sober" right now. If you haven't seen the video, go check it out on YouTube.... HOT!!! Take a look below of a performance of the song.

Even though he's a dusty nigga... Jim Jones actually has a little fashion sense. Did anyone notice how he tried to bring back ski goggles in the "Pop Champagne" video? I was actually quite impressed. Even though that fad is neeevvvver coming back in the hip hop nation, it looked quite good on him. Now watch this generations ghetto fake thugs around the USA put maad ski goggles on lay-a-way.

I don't mean to be a groupie... but can I tell you who my favorite Jonas Brother is? OMG, this youngster is the cutest. At first, I had trouble deciding which one I liked because they all look the same except for that one that looks nothing like them... but after much thought and consideration, I have decided on... the one in the middle!! Don't know his name, but he sure is dreamy, he's the 'other' singer... ahhhh, sigh.

So It's Christmas Time...

But to me it doesn't even feel like Christmas. Yes it's white out there, and cold... But I hardly see any lights, except for the Christmas lights hung up on the Express Mini Mart on the corner. When I speak about Christmas to certain individuals it seems like it is more of a hassle than a have to... and it shouldn't be have to, it should definitely be a want to. When I say have to, I'm remembering when we had our Christmas list of the people that we have to get presents for; and it was fun. I'm in the store, and a young lady and me gets to talking and she begins to tell me that she isn't buying Christmas presents for hardly anyone this year because everyone is pissing her off. But this is also the lady that has her 4 year old son with her, helping her zip up her boots and then pull them off...
My point is, things aren't the way it use to be. We can blame it on the fact that we are getting older... eh, hmm. But to be perfectly honest most of us are in our prime right now. We can say that it is the recession that is getting us down...well, of course. But we have to make the most out of it people. It is now time to become thrifty in the things that belong to us and who is involved in our lives.
So, it is Christmas time and I hate to sound like Scrooge, but Ba-hum-bug! And I mean it in the best way possible. I'd love to enjoy Christmas like we really ought to, but it seems that those that surround me aren't really in the, holiday spirit shall I say, and people think that Christmas is mostly about buying things and receiving presents except for what it really represents. Hey wait a minute... what does Christmas represent?
For a minute there, I really had to think about it. It's really about being with your family, related or not and enjoying living life, breathing life, waking life. And I am sorry to say, but it is really hard to do this when others around you have a different perspective on Christmas. Those who are having parties and getting together with loved ones just to kick it, get it. Those that are giving giving giving, and expecting expecting expecting, don't!

Happy Holidays ♥♥♥

Not That You Care, But...

I dreamt that Paris and Benji had broken up... and the funny thing is, I don't even give a shit about them. I don't even care about this, so I didn't even attempt to put it in my dream book. But I dreamt that Nicole and Joel were on the red carpet taking pictures and Benji was there with his arm around some other girl. I want to say she was slightly red head, and I think Nicole was wearing something lavender, but that's besides the point. The point is; I dreamt they were broken up... so they did, just a little while ago. Raaaaandom!

And The Award For The Best...

...I don't like you anymore kiss goes to.... Mr. and Mrs. Nick Cannon everybody, how about a round of applause!!!!

And speaking of Mariah...

Not That I Care But, Did Anyone Know About This?

This straight from http://omg.yahoo.com/news/mariah-careys-bff-da-brat-sentenced-to-jail/12363 ...back in August. I don't even think this was mentioned on BET's Black Carpet.

Beyonce's Back! ♪ If I Were A Boy...♪♫

So, you know this song is going to be big right... But the real reason why you should attempt to listen to this song more than twice is to watch the video... please.

I am a Beyonce fan for sure. And if you're not, then I'd say you just don't get it. But it's okay we have free will, and that is a lovely thing.

Beyonce "If I Were A Boy"

Click on this Youtube post after watching this video to view her new single, "Single Ladies". Trust me, only for the true um, hip hopper at heart. It's a oh-so hawt video. And if you do decide to watch this video, look at the heels she is dancing in. And she is really dancing! You got to give her credit on that one. She is a talented and beautiful soul... so in the words if true 90's Ebonics slang; You Better Recognize Fool!

Dammit!! I Missed Dancing With The Stars...

But my boy filled me in. In what I thought was suppose to be one of the best DWTS ever! (I mean, Kim and her asses are on it!) He said it was kind of ho-hum; and I quote:

"Kim Kardashian, wack in the sack, wack on the dance floor...waste of an ass, it's more of a burden..."
In more words of course. But the fact is, no matter how much I like Kim, and I do, she really can't dance, she's maad stiff... and she is actually wack in the sack. I seen the video, she's boring. And Ray J wasn't any help, another waste. I like Kim and Reggie together, he seems like the type of man that likes to stay busy while... eh em, sex; better for her lazy ass. I know you know people like this ya'll...lazies.
While me and my friend was talking about DWTS, I started to wonder why the hell is that old ass lady on the show? They are exploiting her! Since my friend seen the show he had a comment on that as well; and I quote:

"...He just drags her old ass around, drops her off and comes back to pick her up...laboring her around... she just stays in one place with that crazy ass wig!"

LMFAO. I love the old, but seriously, why is she on the show? For fun? She can take a class with the gals, why exploit her like that. And the only reason why I say exploit is because Dancing with the Stars is suppose to be a competition... of the stars... why compete if you know you aren't going to win, regardless if the money is for charity. I know if she was sponsoring my charity, I'd be pissed, because I know that money was never going to be mine.

Oh and btw, did you hear? Clay Aiken came out of his imaginary closet... uh DUH! Who did he think he was fooling. Hearing that was like a breeze from the wind.

Let's Talk About Music Ya'll...

So I finally heard that new song by Kanye "Love Lockdown". I f*ckin LOVE it!! I mean come on, besides the fact that he is a little um... high strung, conceited, narcissistic, etc... he is a genius. He does his thing. And makes HITS! So yeah, I like him.

For anyone who doesn't like Pink, I'm going to have to ask, why? Because, I love her. She is an individual in her own right. I'm going to be honest, I can't think of a person who reminds me of her. It took me one listen to like her new song "So What"; I appreciate her will to put out there what is on her mind, because she isn't talking B.S. she is speaking the truth. So yeah, I like her.

OMG, have you heard Brandy's new song "Right Here"? I am in love with this. I heard it in the radio and had no idea it was her. I've always been a Brandy fan, and happy that she has made a comeback. For those who haven't seen the video, check it out, it's beautiful.

Oh, and one more thing; where the hell is Lil' John? He disappeared off the face of this earth. And speaking of face, I seriously NEVER seen what he looks like without his glasses. If I seen him on the street, I'd have no idea it was him. So he is on the comeback, look for it!

OMG! I Have A Celebrity-ish Friend!!!

I Am For The People!: Spotlight

AHHHHHHH! I am soooooo HAPPY for Franchesca!
She was totally at the Emmys Schmoozing with the celebrities like I thought she would. Listen this is a wonderful thing regardless of if you know who she is or not because I know that she is going to go far in her career and make it in life. So I can say that a little hard work does actually pay off.

And The Award For Hip Hop's New Catch Phrase Goes To...

I Am For The People!: Music

"It ain't trickin' if you got it" !! !!

Weezy, Nas, T.I., Jay-Z, Kanye, and probably many, many others have used this phrase in their rhymes. I always notice music's trends. At first I'm like, please, it's still trickin'. But after hearing this street slang for a bona fide Bonita over and over again, used in many different ways, it got me thinking... is it still trickin' if you actually do in fact, got it?
On this one, I'm going to have to totally agree with the boys. What a lot of regular folk don't understand is that a man, who actually in fact has it, has no problem spending it or giving it to a woman; and the same goes for women with money. It's like a thank you for being this beautiful. Now I am not condoning prostitution, but come on people; is it a crime to accept gifts from someone you like, knowing that it is only going to go through the bedroom door? Of course limo doors, expensive restaurant doors, and retail doors will be involved, but, is that wrong people?
Like I said, I'm going to agree with the fellas on this one. Mainly because of the barter system. You got what I need, I got what you need, let's get together and give each other what we need. And let's not forget the famous whore phrase, You gotta use what you got, to get what you want. True, so very true. ☻

Not Even Joking, I Could Of Sworn Nate Dogg...

I Am For The People!: Random

was dead?
Not that this really matters to me, it's just that up until now, only because I was listening to the radio, I found out that he had a stroke. But no joke, I thought he died already.
This often happens to me. I'd think a situation happened, and not until it actually happens, I realize that I must have dreamt it. Well seeing as though he is still alive at this moment, I remember in my dream that I was in the car listening to the radio and they informed the public that Nate Dogg had passed away, I remember thinking, Damn, he was young. Now I only remember this as a dream because, like I said, up until now, I thought he had passed. Weird, I know.

It's Happening Ya'll, Secure Your JOBS!!

I Am For The People!: Future

Ok, so we are going into recession ya'll. You know this right? There needs to be change. And whoever is next in charge needs to demand that in some way. But like I said, we are going into recession. Only the strong are going to survive so... get a move on. There is one of two ways we will get through this, but either of these ways is still going to take some time. The first, which is the obvious way out; the government should just make some more money!! Why won't they make extra money?? Because they can't people, it's supposedly illegal, blah blah, blah. The other way we can make it out of this is if we migrate. We move to new places, do new things, introduce other to your way and start something up. I know we are in the technology age, but the future is all about a service people, get with it. I know you use to watch Dark Angel, the whole show was about people doing random services.
So the point is, we are in a recession ya'll, secure your jobs! I for one don't have a reeeal job, but I makes it through, so I'm going to see what's next for me. But as for all of you... SECURE YOUR JOBS PEOPLE, take charge of what's yours!!

Oh, and this totally has nothing to do with nothing, but I'm finally warming up to that T. I. song, "Whatever You Like".. it took me a minute, but I likes it! Like to hear it? Well... ☺

My Wise Son...

I Am For The People!: Life's Situations

Anyone who knows my son should know that he is way beyond his years, in a good way. He's smart, he knows things. Besides what you know about him, my psychic can vouch for that. She said he's been here before. You know, I learn a lot from him, I listen to him and I hope that he does the same with me. But Geeze Louise, this kid be dropping some knowledge. And it's often the subject of some real life truths.

So, I had another epiphany ya'll☺. One night a little while ago me and Skylar were taking lots of pics with the camera. It was like 1am or something I had just came in the house. He likes to make these crazy faces in all his pictures and then crack up at the sight of it! So, I was having a bad day all day for a reason that I now do not remember. But seeing him making these beyond weird, annoying, funny faces really did cheer me up! We were looking at a pic of me and him and he says to me, "A lot to live for, Long life to live". I looked at him, said you are correct or something like it, put him to bed and then went in my room. I thought about what he said. Then I said, wait, who has a long life ahead, and who has a lot to live for?? No sir. But my son is right. 100% right. You have to decide what that statement means to you. So even though I really don't want anyone seeing these pictures, I have to show you the type of Jim Carey humor my son has. He's hilarious!! A trait from me of course!

So about my epiphany. Do you see what is going on around us? I don't even watch the news and I know what's going on. People are dying, for various reasons. I mean 10 years ago humans weren't just dying off like this. Today we are getting swatted like flies! Do you notice that everything is so extreme now. We are living in the future and I truly think it is survival of the fittest human, the fittest to live in the Age of the Aquarius. ( Like I said, reeeeaaaad about it, Google it or something). All I know is whatever you choose to call it, times a really changing, and rapidly. I mean, the earth isn't going to fall from the Universe, but changes are here, now. You ready?

Why They See Hillary. I Had An Epiphany Ya!

Ok, I am going to get real personal with you right now. Because every time I think about this situation, I tear up. Let me give you a little bit of insight first. Tupac wasn't for this time... he was ahead, beyond, and trapped of his time. He preached a very strong word, but his actions were out of control...ridiculously. He had so much capacity to comprehend things and understand his world around him that it literally drove him into the ground. He among a few other rappers are the only real lyricists that rapped about their true life. If Tupac did a complete 180% turn... he would be more than brilliant. Anyone that know me, knows for sure that I am a complete 100% Biggie fan, but Pac said it best, "We ain't ready to see a black president..."

I had an epiphany ya'll. I am into psychics. I went to see a few in my lifetime. And, if I do watch TV, shows that have to do with psychics would be a type of show that I'd watch. So as I was walking around my gloomy neighborhood this morning, I was reminded about a show that I watched at the end of 2007. It was a talk show. Some Twin red headed psychics were booked as guests and making 2008 predictions for the audience and entertainment/world issues. They did predict Jay Z and Beyonce getting married, Angelina and Brads family getting a lot bigger, and I even think they predicted Porcia de Rosi and Ellen getting married. One thing that they predicted supposedly, is that Hillary Clinton will be president. Hmmm? Really? At the time I was like, I don't feel it. I didn't necessarily think it was going to be Obama, but I didn't feel Hillary.
So, fast forward to now. Obama baby! 2008 Democratic Presidential Candidate! WOOOOO!!!!
Where's Hillary?
So my epiphany ya'll: Yesterday when I was trying to find pictures of John McCain, I thought it was very random and weird how all of his pictures were um,... very random and...weird. So I looked up pictures of Obama and they were wonderful. I mean really great pictures. The song "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" the Amy Winehouse version was playing in the background, and I burst out in tears. Hillary will become President. Vice President is still a President. She knows what a lot of you don't. The Hate ya'll, alive... kicking!

I need to continue with my epiphany. Look around you. Look what's happening on our planet. We are dying... at a vast rate. I don't watch the news so I really can't tell you what's really going on, but I feel it. I'm not going to go into the specifics with this, but the United States of America is suppose to be a strong nation. When it's Us against Them, we holds it down! But what's going to happen when it's Us against Us... we will fall. And then all hell will break loose. Lots of nations around the globe are nations divided. We are one of the strong... even the strong fall. Showing that we are in the early stages of the Age of Aquarius. Get your mind right ya'll! Gone with the bad, saving the good! And even the good will be sacrificed for the greater good of humanity. Read about it, I don't have time to tell you about it.

Is It Me, Or does McCain Look Really McCreepy?

I Am For The People! Say No to McCreepy

Listen, let me tell ya people. I am not into Politics, I leave that for the birds. But I do support Obama. Mainly because he's a democrat, and he's cute. But John McCain; he looks like a sure creeper! Anyone who votes for him must be under his spell, or just plain and simple hate Black people. If I had to look at him for 4 years, see him smiling, his weird looking face looking back at me through pictures and TV sets, I'd be pretty freaked out! Besides that, he just looks untrustworthy. I wouldn't trust someone that looks like him. So those that vote, vote wisely.

And even worse than the word... is the actual shirt! Yes people, have you seen it? Well it's right here in front of your eyes. Popping up in ghetto flea markets all across America... The Bitchassness shirts have arrived, for men, women, and babies ya'll, you know Puffy don't play. Point blank, anyone who wears that shirt needs to get bitch-SLAPPED!

It's Fiday; Let's Talk About Politics Ya'll!!

I Am For The People!: Barack 4 President

No, I didn't watch the Presidential Convention. And no, I am not planning on voting! But do I want Barack to win? Hell yes! Because he's black? Well, yes. And also because his family is beautiful. Another reason is because he worked very hard to get to where he is now, and I believe that he has the power to make change in this world. From what I read, he talks a good word. (People, when I tell you I don't watch TV, I really, don't. I've only seen his campaign ad... once, and it was in its last seconds).
I'm not voting! I choose not to vote! All of you who have a problem with this can suck it, because I choose not to vote for ME. I'd rather sit back, and watch as these times unfold in front of my eyes. I know things will be the way they are going to be regardless, and when I'm good and ready to start voting, I will!
Oh, and I also want Barack to win because he's a democrat... um hello! And because we listen to the same music; he invited Jennifer Hudson to sing at the Convention (love her!) I missed it though, Don't watch TV!
The bottom line that I am trying to prove by not voting is just because it isn't in your backyard, doesn't mean that racism is extinct. It is alive and still, still kicking. Do not tell me that you do not know about this people? Racism is one of those things that is put in the "pink elephant" category. Like it ceased or something, and is not there, but we live it everyday people. If human beings on this planet can be suicide bombers, never mind the religion; Don't you think us Americans can do the same? I am not going to be apart of it... what's to come when we see a black president? All hell is going to break loose, you know this right? But much love to Obama, Go Donkeys!!

She's a winner!

The Case Of The Dumb Broad!

I Am For The People!: Foolish

I am upset people, and let me tell you why. I don't even know where to begin because this story is so bizarre it boggles my mind. To make a really, really long story short:

There was this guy that my friend was dating, and for some reason, I wasn't too fond of him. They got into some arguments, you know break ups to make ups; that kind of thing, but it was always the same old thing with him. Basically, he didn't want a relationship, she did, he wasn't ready, she was... So I guess they got in a big argument and weren't talking for a few days.
Fast forward to where I come into the picture. I get a call from a guy late night. I had no idea who this man was and he preceded to tell me that we met a while back. He described what I was wearing, told me who I was with and even where we met that night... so how could I argue with him? I was bored, so I talked to him. There was something familiar about him and I also found him interested so I continued to talk to him over the course of about a week. During this week, I brought up many times that his voice sounds familiar, even made a joke about who I thought that he might be, but according to him, he wasn't that guy. Sorry, he said.
We planned to meet so I could know what he looked like, because I had no idea who he was. And let me tell you people, I hardly give out my number, so me not remembering who this person was, really had me wanting to know more about him. Before we were going to meet, I asked him to pick up something for me from the store. He did, and then he called me to tell me that he needed to tell me something before he came over to see me. I'm like, Oh Damn, what could it be? He then tells me that he is who I thought he was and he was too afraid to tell me.WTF? Really. Any normal person would have told him to piss off, don't come and to never call again. But I wanted to look this fool in his face to see what the hell could be going on in his mind that he has to make up a story to try to get with his girls friend behind her back in a very, very, oh so sleazy way. Besides that, I wanted my sh*t from the store! He told me not to tell her, I said sure.
You KNOW whats the first thing I did when he left right!
It took this fucking lame ass dude to sneak into my girls phonebook to get my number and try to get with me, in order for my friend to see how much of a LOSER this guy was.
She didn't talk to him... for at least a few weeks....
Then the lying started... she's talking to him again. Are they screwing? I don't know. But she told me to mind my business, and mind my business is what I intend to do!

You think you're helping out a friend when in actuality, they can't even help themselves. To me, I know what this makes her look like. It's a disgrace. But obviously to her, she doesn't see it my way. You know what they say, love is blind. She is my friend, and she is a dumb broad. But who am I to judge?

Rihanna; Yeah, She's COOL!

I Am For The People!: Celebrities

And, I'm totally not being sarcastic people. I really like Rhianna. I think she has paid her dues to show that she is here to stay. One thing I really admire about Rhianna is that fact that she was able to survive the Beyonce Haze. And what I mean by this people, if we don't know, Beyonce is the only urban/r&b/pop princess in this day that maintains her standing in all that she does. Key word, being POP... as in Popular. Rhianna was able to stand her ground during this Beyonce Era to claim her place as one of the top Musical Artists today.
Even though in the beginning, she was almost casted off as a B* wannabee with 'Pon De Replay' I think the only thing saving her was her heavy Barbadian accent. With some quick thinking by genius Jay-Z to put out another album only 7 months after her first album was released, she crossed over to Pop with 'SOS'. Once they let Rhianna be herself, something amazing took place. People took notice that she wasn't in fact like anyone at all. She was actually quite different from those whom she was being compared to.
Her style is immaculately odd, and I truly love her for that. She is someone who I'd consider one of the top trendsetters in the industry. In fashion, lifestyle, and music she brings the masses into her world of something new, always. So, since talking about something new and in true Rhianna fashion, I have to say, it took me at least 2 or 3 times to like this song... and now I LOVE it! I want you all to take a look at her video for "Disturbia". Yes, the song does take some getting use to, so take it for what it is. IT is something new, something different, and it ROCKS! Stop hating on Rihanna! Oh, and btw, who the hell does her marketing? One smart cookie, check out the video to see what I mean! I guarantee this song will be one hot banger well through November.

Sean Paul... Where For Art Thou?

I Am For The People!: Celebrities

Is anyone else wondering this? I predict a very strong comeback for Sean Paul in the very near future. He's been gone for a while, and dammit! I miss him. My favorite songs include, Gimmie the Light, I'm Still In Love, We Burnin' and of course Temperature. Regardless of the fact that he is sexy as hell, and puts out bangers every time, did you know that he played national water polo for years, was a proficient swimmer, and was trained in classical flute... hmm, interesting.

For some reason, I was under the impression that Sean P was strictly Jamaican; speculation, I guess. Turns out, he has Portuguese and Chinese in his blood as well... hmm, very interesting.

Be on the look out for a Sean Paul hit coming our way soon. But for now, check out the latest video by SeandaPaul. I actually really like this song. It's soooo HOOD! And um, is it me, or has Sexy been taking some dance lessons? IDK?

Instant Karma? Does It Exist?

I Am For The People!: Karma

Um, hell yes!
If you have no idea what instant karma is, well you are not alone in this. (Please don't confuse this with regular karma, two totally different things!) It seems a lot of people have no idea what instant karma is about. The name kinda speaks for itself right? But how do you reach instant karma, or stay away from it? There is only one way IN and one way OUT.
Seems easy, but actually maintaining your karma can be a very difficult thing to do.
Let's discuss staying away from instant karma first. It's as easy as taking candy from a baby...something that you know you shouldn't do right. So wrong, oh so very wrong. So after you take this candy from the baby, you begin walking down the street and notice that your wallet is missing. F*CK! I mean, you only had $55 in your wallet, but still. That $55 is probably exactly 10x the amount of the cost of the candy you took. Get it? You knew you shouldn't be taking that candy from that baby, but you did it anyway, thus inducing instant karma.
Another example, which happens to be a real life situation:

A friend of mine has a problem, it's called being a victim of the "free99". Even though she knows that she shouldn't be stealing, she does it anyway. Many of us have this difficult problem, and it's hard to admit, or come to terms with it. In her case she knew it was wrong, she felt it was wrong, but she did it anyway. Later that day, she went to the hair salon, and when she came out, the whole front end of her car was smashed up. No one seen anything. Covered? Only liability. DAYUMN. Her estimated total for repairs, $700. That $700 is probably about 10x the amount of the cost of the things that she took from the store.
Are we understanding people?

So, how do you create instant karma? It's one of those things where you have to be oblivious to attain it. So as you can imagine, it seems much harder to reach. But if you are a person that is true to your nature, then it is the simplest thing to maintain in this life. Charity Workers and Volunteers gain a lot of instant karma. Getting a little clearer people? Ok, so you are pissed that your wallet is gone, you're hungry with no money, and the only thing you have to eat is... uh candy. As you are walking down the street, you seen an older woman trip to the ground and drop all of her belongings. You instantly, like a reaction, run to her, help her up, make sure she's okay, and gather her things for her. You continue on your walk, still hungry, a little pissed, happen to look down, and guess what, a $10 bill laying on the side of the gutter. That $10 is probably 10x the minutes it took to help that lady up. OK. WE GET IT NOW? Wonderful!

I'm talking in terms of money, because it's easier to understand. But I know that many things has happened in your life where you felt very lucky, or very unlucky. Guess what people, there's no such thing as luck, There is only karma... and intuition. (We'll get into that another time)

So is there a such thing as instant karma? Does it truly exist? Why don't you try it out people.

The Ladybug Incident

I Am For The People!: Weird

So, I was deciding if I should write about this or not because actually I'm quite upset. To make a really long story short, I woke up last night about 2:30am, sat straight up in my bed, and subconsciously stuck my finger in my left ear. I pulled out something that looked like a black ball. Under normal circumstances, I would have screamed and thrown whatever the hell that thing was and then proceed to freak the f out. But I wanted to know what it was; I turned on the light and it was a dead ladybug. I thought it was the coolest thing! I'm like, "Hmmm, what does this mean", very excitedly. I placed the ladybug on a flat surface and covered it with something. All night I was so excited to think how I would display my favorite insect. I was dreaming about it people! The point is, when I woke up, it was gone... and I was pissed! I did a little research on the internet just in case it meant something special lol. And I found this:

to read the full post go to: http://www.rdadslife.com/forum.html?func=view&catid=13&id=66
"...I took her to the ER and within a few hours the doc had extracted a dead ladybug. My daughter was so upset about the dead bug she could care less about the doc putting drops in her ear. When I asked why the bug was in her ear my daughter replied to me that she could not hear what the ladybug was saying to her because the bugs mouth was so small so she put the bug in her ear to here it better while they were talking!!"

The cutest thing right! This girl is totally someone I would be friends with.

Let's Talk About LUUUVVVVV People!

I Am For The People!: Love

Is it better to have loved then lost, than to never love at all? Apparently, lots of people have an opinion on this and I'd say it's pretty much split down the middle. Most said, never love at all. But of course, those are the people that got burned, pretty severely. A lot said love then lost, for reasons of their own, and I'm going to vouch for them!
In what I would call one of the biggest meltdowns of my life, my recent broken heart this summer has proved to me that it is so much better to have loved once before, and then lose it, than to never ever get a chance to love that person at all. Because, regardless of an outcome, LOVE is the number one learning experience. Love changes you; your thoughts, actions, words and ways, and can be down right scary! When it's good, it's heaven; when it's shaky, your heart shakes with it, and tries to hold on for dear life.
By going through this massive heart surgery, I had to suffer the pain of losing my love to a beautiful young lady, with knockers the size of Texas, ugh! I suffered the pain and agony of self-embarrassment through multiple texts, emails, and calls... trying to figure out what the hell "I" did wrong? In this process of trying to win my man back, I came across as a crazy, insane, maybe even manipulative individual that I actually didn't know at all. Or, maybe i just wasn't aware of it.
The pain that I felt is unlike anything I ever felt before. And it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever experienced in my life. Through that broken heart, I learned a lot about me that I would have never known. And because of that, great change occurred! So, in my opinion, it is so much better to love and then lose, than to never love at all, because if you don't lose in LOVE, how the hell are you going to find out all the love that life has stored up for you; just waiting for you to open it?

Forklift helps 700-pound man take outing ^^^^^^ This Is Ridiculous!!^^^^^^

I Am For The People!: Shameful
pictures from Associated press. To view story go to:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/mexico_half_ton_man;_ylt=AhBGnEr7MtbX.he_8lsu4sDlWMcF

The Associated Press reports this 700 lbs Mexican man known as Meme was carried out of his house on his bed by a forklift and placed on a truck that brought him to a lake. What? Who's idea was this and why is this news? I laughed. And that's not a mean thing to do. Think about all the kids that are going to be riding around in the back seats of cars pissing their pants as Meme rides on by comfortably, begging their parents to follow the ManTruck. Kids are cruel, so very cruel. This is sad people! This should not be news. It should be in a health class some where teaching our kids about what will happen to them if they eat Mickey D's and Wendys every damn day!
In the article it said when he got to the lake,"he snacked on fish and vegetables and joked with a local
boat operator..." Well, Hehe hehehe. This is no laughing matter people! This should not be news.
But on the serious note, I am going to give him a hell of a lot of credit... for disgusting me, thus, me disgusting you. No sir, he use to weigh 1,235 lbs. Now that's incredible!

You Never Really Know Who Your Friends Are, Until They Don't FACE/SPACE You Back!

I Am For The People!: Random Thoughts

So, I was having this conversation with a friend of mine about these social networking sites that we seem to be addicted to lately. The question of if we are always online checking our pages, why in the hell won't someone comment/wall/etc.. you back? Some see this as rude, I guess. Some don't give a shit; but if the intent of these sites is mostly for networking purposes, not responding back to someone is being non-network friendly.

But what about your supposed friends that don't wal-ment you back? (wal-ment lol. corny!) Some would say it's pretty f'kd up, I guess. And some just really don't give a shit. But I guess if this person is really a friend, then they would find the time to get back to you.

Is face/spacing back something that people really care about? According to my friend, Yes. And after talking to her, I kind of would care too... I guess, depending on the person.

But seriously people, after high school, our lives get so complicated and turned around, we don't have time to do the petty things in life. We do, what we do, when we have time to do it. So it's ultimately up to the person to decide whether they are going to be offended by it or not. So I say, if you feel you really don't know who your friends are until they don't face/space you back, then maybe your, um, right.

Michael Phelps Beats His Own Record, BEIJING Plays the Ghetto 'Star Spangled Banner' with Bush Watching

I Am For The People!: Olympics

Please tell me, did anyone catch this? It was between about 4am and 5am this morning, Michael Phelps beats his own damn swimming record! He was on the podium glorifying over his Gold win, and possibly getting a little teary eyed; hand over heart, as the song plays, music continues... they show George Bush's face as the song is playing (who was watching as a fan in the crowd) and cut the song short right before "...the land of the free..." and that was it. Everyone clapped, USA looked a little confused, and everything seemed to be fine. Coincidence, or ghetto slap in George Bush's face?
Regardless, GO USA! USA! USA! USA!

Word on The Street: 3 Kids Shot, One Dead...At Parade? WHAT??!!?

I Am For The People!: Tragedy

***UPDATE: 7 shot, including kids. The word on the street at the time was a small child got killed. Turned out to be a young gentleman about 21 years of age***

In what was suppose to be a fun filled day for the residents of Hartford, CT, turned out to be an ugly situation. 3 children, and when I say children people, I mean innocent kids at a parade having a great time, got shot. One, for sure they say is dead, shot in the head. Another was on a bicycle. And the other was in a stroller. Unfortunately, I was there, and captured some CSI photos.

Every year Hartford host the West Indian Parade, and every year the same things happen. It's not that the parade gives these idiotic fools a reason to start shooting up a place, it's just that these things happen in Hartford everyday. Every hour. But at a parade... where the kids are? Come on people? We're not using our noggings; or care enough to even try. I was disgusted when I approached that scene.

But let me tell you, the party did go on... for most. As it always does. And to prove my point, I mentioned what happened to my friend that lives in Hartford. His response was, "That's Hartford." Sad.

**In another note, I captured photos of a SWAT team gearing up and entering this house. Which, btw, is not related to the shooting, but was on the same street... but then again, maybe it could have been related because the cops were looking for possible suspects. In any event, what I am telling you is hearsay, so take it as so. But take a look at the pics, they are pretty cool.

Jesse McCartney; the new... Jesse McCartney??

I Am For The People!: Celebrities

Have you heard Jesse McCartney's new song "Leavin"? After listening to it, I think that it is safe to say that once again Hip Hop culture has pulled another one of Pops outcasts in from the storm. To hear this sweet little boy singing all of these played out Ebonics... actually quite work for me! I love this song!
"...that thing you got behind you is amazing...make it rain...walk it out...tell your shorty...to the left..."
All these words are from Hip Hop culture, and even though only the stragglers are still saying these phrases, Jesse McCartney brings it back... straight to the POP culture, and then some!
Now if Jesse's 'beautiful soul' can swoon out a tune made up of mostly Hip Hip lyrics; Can Hip Hop get its dues now? Yes Hip Hop is here to stay; Yes, it is the innovation of all music; And Yes, Jesse McCartney actually said, "Tell your shorty..."
And BTW, has anyone ever seen his episode on 'Punked'? Definitely worth watching.

Lil' BowMama... Seperated at the Womb? Well, Maybe.

I Am For The People!: Celebrities

I've been thinking about this for some time now, and I figure it hasn't made it's way to the official headlines yet, so I'm gonna bring it up again. Haven't seen it on Talk Soup or Best Week Ever.
Is this something that just flew over everyones head? Or do people not even give a damn? Actually, I really don't care; it's just the similarities that down right... disturb me.

Reality Show...Cartoon? WHAT!?!?

I Am For The People! : Kids

Really people. Is this what our children's channels have come down to? Reality Cartoons? I know you're thinking; reality...cartoon....how? Well, it is a cartoon, basically about people getting voted off of an island. The show is called "Total Drama Island" (the name; wonderful isn't it?). And, if I must say so myself... I am totally addicted. It has all the scandal, minus the uh, actual reality.
